Our Story

Business has always been a part of our story.

Our roots go back to 1984, when our father began building Deepak Enterprises from the ground up—a business shaped by trust, consistency and long-standing relationships.

Growing up, my elder brother and I didn’t just watch the business—we grew up around it. From our father, we learned that business isn’t simply about selling. It’s about serving people well, earning their trust and building something that lasts.

Alongside that legacy was a dream we shared from a young age: to build something of our own while carrying those values forward.

My entrepreneurial journey began early. At 14, I started my first small venture. By 16, an early setback brought that chapter to an end, but the experience taught me lessons in resilience, business and starting again.

I went on to build my experience in the corporate world, while my brother worked closely with our father, developing his expertise in the family business and large-scale distribution.

Different journeys gave us different strengths, but eventually brought us back to the same dream.

The Beginning of Délumeo

With our father’s continued guidance and everything we had learned along the way, we decided it was time to create something new.

That idea became Délumeo.

The name itself carries our story.

“Dé” is a tribute to Deepak Enterprises—the foundation our father began building in 1984. “Lumeo” evokes light, brightness and the idea of bringing more joy into everyday life.

Together, Délumeo represents where we come from and where we’re going—our legacy behind us and a brighter world of possibilities ahead.

Today, Délumeo is a modern lifestyle brand built on timeless business values and created for a new generation. We bring together products that feel expressive, delightful and personal—things that add character to your space, make gifting more meaningful and bring joy to everyday moments.
